Koos Bekker retired, but with his buoyant upbeat personality & his aspiration to serve the community, he was not quite ready to ‘step down’, which lead to the fortunate & blessed formation of Welgedacht Properties in 1998.

As a result of Koos Bekker’s success, Welgedacht Properties soon became a recognised name in the real estate industry and with a progressive increase of buyers & sellers, he decided to expand the agency in 2009.

Rozelle Homann joined Welgedacht Properties in November 2009. Being in the industry since September 2000, she is well known in the area and has achieved several awards with previous companies: “Top office sales person” for 4 consecutive years, “Top sales person” for 2 consecutive years for the Western Cape as well as “3rd place National Top Agent Metro Office”. After joining Welgedacht Properties, she has continued to procure record sales in Welgedacht, Kanonberg, Van Riebeeckshof and Oude Westhof.

Dawie Heydenrych joined Welgedacht Properties in January 2010 and continued to grow his immense impact he has previously had in areas Welgemoed, Loevenstein and Door de Kraal. Since he joined Welgedacht Properties he has also been very successful in Welgedacht. He is a qualified accountant and has achieved huge successes while he was a broker with a very well-known financial services group, making him a big asset to our company with regards to financial aspects. He joined the real estate industry in 2006 and achieved various awards with his previous company: "Rookie of the year", followed by "Agent of the year".

Rozelle Homann and Dawie Heydenrych are now co-owners of Welgedacht Properties. They have both achieved their NQF Level 4 and 5 Status and are both qualified Principals of Welgedacht Properties. Since they have joined Welgedacht Properties, sales have ROCKETED!, which prompted the appointment of a new member to the team…

Anile Peiser joined Welgedacht Properties in September 2010; With a lively passion for people & property, she could not think of any reason to not accept the offer to join this extremely dynamic team and she has NOT LOOKED BACK!

Her solid background in sales, strong understanding of the real estate industry, her wholehearted approach and ability to form quality business relationships with clients, have all been fundamental traits that have contributed to her successes in Proteavalley, Loevenstein & Hoheizen thus far!

Karin Van Rensburg joined Welgedacht Properties in February 2012 to expand the areas where we have proved to be highly successful in to: De Bron, Kenridge and Durbanville Hills.

As a result of Karin’s dynamic qualities and desire to achieve, she completed the Estate Agency Affairs Board Exams in 2004, after which she started her career as an estate agent. Soon afterwards in 2006, she received her Real Estate: Level 4 Certificate of Competence.
